This is your homework......

Dear All,

A quick message to let you know that you have homework!

You are now getting many emails from recruitment agencies that you have signed up for.

You are looking over all of those jobs you will be applying for. Do a bit of homework on the school, the county and the place where you could be eventually living. Go to the school's website, make sure it's a real school! (Urban legend but it has happened before...and be careful if the school asks for any money upfront!)

Ask the recruitment agency for further information on the school, big red flag if they can't or wont, it's a worry already. They don't have to give you the package but they can provide with a name and/or a website of the school.

This blog is about searching and surviving teaching overseas, the first step is to get into a reasonable school and setting. Send a message and I maybe able to get you in touch with someone in that area or someone who has taught in that country...or a friend of a friend!
