Bad, bad blogger.....
So much time and so few posts on the blog.
Do I care? Well, I did when I got all excited that my site had been viewed over 70 times in one week, that was until I was told a blog needed to be seen at least by a few thousand before it was considered 'successful'.
I was also told that my blog was good by a friend and that I wasn't 'narcissistic' at all in it. That's when I knew that I didn't care. My blog is for information, not for attention.
So back to being a bad blogger......................
For the Northern Hemisphere you need to be applying for the August start now.
*Read the emails from recruiters
*Get onto individual school sites and look up their employment pages
*Nepotism: nothing wrong with asking mates what their schools are like and are there any jobs there?
*Read my past blog about the CV and get that into shape and into the schools!
*Remember you don't decide what you are going to do until you have the job offer
*Apply for all you can and see what happens (the expat teaching game is a lot harder to get into nowadays as travel and living overseas is much easier than what it once was)
And there could be some schools still looking for people now! Have a look, get ready and go for it!
Cheers,
HB
