Time is ticking!
Dear All,
It's getting to that time of recruitment that schools have either cemented their contracts or are now trying to fill what they first couldn't. You will be getting emails galore from recruiters who are trying to fill those spots.
It seems that the countries that are in high demand for teachers are in the Middle East as well as in Asia for August/September 2017. The UK can have immediate starts as well as the term starts in April and Sept. I've taught in all three of these areas and can give some insight into where to look and what is good/ok/wouldn't touch. I can also put you touch with those who are still in those areas, so drop me a line if you'd like to chat.
From past experience some schools will be recruiting right up to the time that their school year start and beyond. Even though it would be glorious to gain a position in Western Europe, you will find that this will be harder. Having said that, it does depend on your methods and the demand.
If you are looking for management roles many schools would have filled these by now, but you never know what the future holds for those who have said yes at this time.
So that's the northern hemisphere, the southern will heat up after July.
Contact me if you want further information.
Good Luck!
